State Senator || Marc Pacheco is a member of the Massachusetts State Senate, where he represents the 1st Plymouth and Bristol District. He first assumed office 28 years ago and is the longest continuously serving member of the Massachusetts Senate. He is currently Co-Chair of the Portuguese American Legislative Caucus of Massachusetts. Prior to his work in the Senate, Marc Pacheco was also part of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and has dedicated his work to issues involving the environment, climate change, energy, and education. With Portuguese roots tracing back to the mainland (Mega Cimeira) and the Azores (São Miguel), Senator Pacheco was awarded the title of Commander of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
