US Congresswoman || Congresswoman Trahan represents the 3rd district of Massachusetts, which covers a region with a great number of Portuguese-Americans. In 2018, Lori Loureiro Trahan became the first woman of Portuguese descent ever elected to the US House of Representatives. From Lowell, Massachusetts, Lori’s roots trace back to both Porto and the Azores. Her grandparents went to the United States following the American Dream. Lori Trahan also has vast experience in the private sector and always worked for her community and for women’s empowerment.
