State Senator || Gordon E. Rogers is a member of the Rhode Island State Senate, where he represents District 21. Senator Rogers is a member of the following State Senate Committees: Environment and Agriculture; Housing and Municipal Government; and Rules, Government Ethics, and Oversight. Prior to his election to the State Senate, Rogers was elected to the Foster Town Council as President in 2010 and served three terms. Gordon E. Rogers was born and raised in Foster, RI, on a dairy farm. His roots trace back to São Miguel, Azores, from where his great-grandparents emigrated at the beginning of the 20th century to New Bedford, Massachusetts.
