Assemblywoman || Cecilia Aguiar-Cruz is a member of the California State Assembly, representing the 4th District, where she grew up. Before working in the legislature, Cecilia served as Mayor of her hometown of Winters. Growing up in an agricultural community, she has focused on issues such as broadband internet, building senior housing, and helping her district become an agricultural and food innovation hub for the region. A great-granddaughter of Azorean immigrants, Cecilia has been a strong supporter of the Day of Portugal events at her State Capitol and is now working on the creation of the Friends of the Azores Caucus in the California State Assembly.
