State Representative || Charlene M. Lima is a member of the Rhode Island General Assembly, having been re-elected to serve District 14 in Cranston and Providence. Charlene is the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, of which she has been a member since 1993. Prior to her work in the legislature, Charlene served in the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Juvenile Justice Task Force, the Secretary of the State Panel for Election Law Reform, and the District Representative Committee. She is also a retired educator from the Providence School Department. Her Portuguese roots trace back to the Azores.
