State Representative || Christopher Flanagan is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He took office in 2023, representing Barnstable’s 1st District, which includes Brewster, Dennis and Yarmouth. Prior to that, Chris was elected as a Dennis Selectman for two terms and worked in Secretary Kerry’s office at the U.S. State Department. With a strong focus on expanding access to quality early childhood education, building affordable and sustainable housing, as well as protecting our environment, doing so by introducing pieces of legislation and bills he has co-sponsored. Raised in Massachusetts, his maternal grandfather António Torres emigrated from Lisbon, Portugal.
