US Congressman || Congressman David Valadao represents California’s 21st Congressional District. Valadao had previously held that office between 2013 and 2019. Prior to this, he had served in the California State Assembly for two years. David Gonçalves Valadao is the son of Portuguese immigrants from the Azores, who settled in the Central Valley. His father started a dairy farming business. During his previous two terms in the US House of Representatives, David focused on issues such as agriculture and the dairy industry, particularly important for the Portuguese-American community.
