‘Eleanor’s Friends’ is FLAD’s new podcast. With live recording in our auditorium every month, it brings together Raquel Vaz Pinto and Pedro Vieira for conversations about stories of extraordinary women. The premiere of FLAD’s new live podcast ‘Eleanor’s Friends’ was in September. The second episode is already on October 9, at 6:30 p.m., in the FLAD Auditorium, in Lisbon. In ‘The Great Blackout’, Raquel Vaz Pinto and Pedro Vieira will talk about the absence of women in history: a journey from Ancient Egypt to Classical Antiquity, through the revolutionary painting of Artemisia Gentileschi and the scrutinizing of this systemic absence until the nineteenth century, a decisive century for the visibility of women. Oh, and the explanation of that circumstance.
