State Representative || Liz Miranda is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In January 2021, she took office for the second time representing the 5th Suffolk District. With a long career in community-building, since the age of 13, Liz Miranda has focused on creating a better environment for Boston’s youth, especially African-Americans. Miranda received several awards for her community work in the inner-city of Boston, such as the Youth Worker of the Year and Bank of America’s Citizen of the Year. Born in Roxbury, Massachusetts, her roots trace back to Cape Verde.
