State Representative || Delegate Michelle Lopes Maldonado is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates Virginia House of Delegates, where she serves the 50th House District in Northern Virginia. She is a first-time legislator and serves on the following House committees on the following House committees: Courts of Justice, Education and K12 subcommittee, Privileges and Elections subcommittee, and Campaign Finance Reform. He also sits on the School Health Services Committee at the state level. She founded the bipartisan Technology and Innovation Caucus. Michelle was born in East Falmouth, MA. Her Portuguese roots come from her Cape Verdean lineage from the islands of Brava and Fogo. She is now running for Congress, representing the 10th Congressional District of the state of Virginia.
