Applications for the Visual Arts Course in the Azores 2022 are now open. Until February 15, artists from the visual arts areas, aged between 25 and 35 years, will be able to apply for this advanced artistic training program that will take place in the Archipelago – Center of Contemporary Arts, in São Miguel – Azores.

The course will take place over eight weeks (35 hours/week) with the presence of invited teachers, of which two are individual tutored work weeks. The weeks of classes will be guided by artists and visual arts theorists. Apart from the invited teachers, the Visual Arts Course also has the tutoring of the artist Catarina Botelho and the executive producer Diana Diegues.

Accommodation and air transport (if necessary) are included, as well as a production scholarship of € 400.00 per artist for the works to be produced in the context of the course.
