Xavier (Atibon Nazaire), a worker in the demolition sector, finds himself confronted by the reality of real estate reconstruction while witnessing, and himself participating, in the dismantling of entire blocks in his neighborhood (Little Haiti, Miami) during the rapid process of gentrification. In her first film, Monica Sorelle, herself of Haitian origin, captures, with a surprising formal confidence, moments in the daily life of an immigrant family, their ambitions, dreams and different expectations, in a series of vignettes.
