Mike Pence and Kamala Harris faced off in the first and only head-to-head between the Candidates for vice president of the United States in Salt Lake City, Utah. A more orderly debate than the one held between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, but no less embattled.
Sitting at a table and separated by Plexiglas, after the Donald Trump confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 and other White House staff shortly after the first debate with former Vice President Joe Biden, the administrations response to the pandemic in the United States was as expected the main topic of the debate.

Donald Trump and Joe Biden have yet to stage two more debates before the November 3 election. The first of these takes place as early as next week, on October 15, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.
