Grants to support the participation of speakers from the US  at conferences and seminars in Portugal organized by Portuguese Institutions

Applications to support the participation of speakers from the US at conferences and seminars in Portugal must be submitted by the Portuguese Institution responsible for the organization of the event, and should contain the following elements:

  • Meeting Agenda;
  • Meeting budget outlining expenses and revenues, and also indicating co-sponsors;
  • A short bio for each speaker from the US.

Grants awarded will fund travel costs and/or accommodation expenses in Portugal up to 1.200 (EUR) per speaker or in a maximum total amount of 2.500 (EUR).

Conferences, seminars and workshops in Portugal beginning:

  • January 2023: Applications until September 30, 2022
  • February 2023: Applications until October 31, 2022
  • March 2023: Applications until November 30, 2022
  • April 2023: Applications until December 31, 2022
  • May 2023: Applications until January 31, 2023
  • June 2023: Applications until February 28, 2023
  • July 2023: Applications until March 31, 2023
  • August 2023: Applications until April 30, 2023
  • September 2023: Applications until May 31, 2023
  • October 2023: Applications until June 30, 2023
  • November 2023: Applications until July 31, 2023
  • December 2023: Applications until August 31, 2023

The results will be published 60 days after the submissions deadline.
